ABOUT CONFERENCE
Case-based teaching is a pedagogical approach that engages students in the process of making real-world decisions. Cases represent authentic work-place decisions, encourage students to apply knowledge gained from the classroom or through additional research to solve the case. Case-based teaching allows the faculty to gauge the ability of students to synthesize, evaluate and apply course concepts while students are engaged in the process of authentic problem solving. The goal is for students to engage in the decision-making process and determine likely or possible solutions. In health professions education, cases can be designed to require students both to draw on existing subject knowledge as well as conduct research to resolve unanswered questions.
OBJECTIVES
- To create awareness about case-based learning methodology as a pedagogical tool
- To implement a unique case-based learning system which meets the global standards
- To bridge the gap between academic concepts and real time problems in corporate world
- To discuss the road map of case-based learning system
- To encourage exchange of ideas and networking amongst National & International stakeholders.
- To discuss faculty upgradation and student flexibility which is integral to effective implementation of Case-based learning

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is a statutory body, and a national-level council for technical education under the Department of Higher Education Govt. of India. It was established in 1945 as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India. AICTE is assisted by 10 Statutory Boards of Studies, namely, UG Studies in Eng. & Tech., PG and Research in Eng. and Tech., Management Studies, Vocational Education, Technical Education, Pharmaceutical Education, Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Information Technology, Town and Country Planning.

GUIDELINES FOR CASE PREPARATION
- The presenting author must be listed as the first author
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the case before submission
- Case should represent the original work
- The case contents should be submitted in the format of MS Word. The text should be in Times New Roman font, 1.5 Line Spacing, 12 point and A4 size paper with 1 inch margin on all sides
- Case must be prepared in clear English language with correct grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

The Case Conference provides two modes of publication opportunities:
- Selected few individual quality cases will be published in Springer book series indexed in Scopus (waiting for approval)
- Selected high quality cases will be published in Iranian Journal of Management Studies indexed in Scopus & Web of Science
