About IQAC

This innovative teaching and learning practices- Focus on NEP 2020” faculty development
program is being organized to promote critical research and teaching-learning practices amongst
the teachers of Higher Education Institutions. The program will clarify the importance of
applying innovative teaching and learning techniques among participants. It will facilitate insight
into different research models and their applications in teaching. It will offer a unique
opportunity to learn from the experts and share experiences with co-participants across India.

As we all know, research today has been one of the most important aspects in the academic
pursuits of higher learning the world over and it provides the solutions to ever-changing human
problems. Teaching and research go hand in hand and Continuous updating of knowledge in
research-related matters is very much needed of the hour. This capacity-building program also
aims to prepare the teacher’s capabilities for publishable material in the form of articles in
journals and books by providing a general understanding of the nature and relevance of the
research methods. It will introduce participants to the essential principles, techniques, and
processes of qualitative and quantitative research.

Case-based teaching is a pedagogical approach that engages students in the process of making real-world decisions.  Cases represent authentic work-place decisions, encourage students to apply knowledge gained from the classroom or through additional research to solve the case.  Case-based teaching allows the faculty to gauge the ability of students to synthesize, evaluate and apply course concepts while students are engaged in the process of authentic problem solving.  The goal is for students to engage in the decision-making process and determine likely or possible solutions.  In health professions education, cases can be designed to require students both to draw on existing subject knowledge as well as conduct research to resolve unanswered questions.

### ALL INDIA TECHNICAL EDUCATION

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is a statutory body, and a national-level council for technical education under the Department of Higher Education Govt. of India. It was established in 1945 as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India. AICTE is assisted by 10 Statutory Boards of Studies, namely, UG Studies in Eng. & Tech., PG and Research in Eng. and Tech., Management Studies, Vocational Education, Technical Education, Pharmaceutical Education, Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Information Technology, Town and Country Planning.

* Authors are requested to submit the abstract/Full paper in MS-word format at
  icrbsnabm2023@abbs.edu.in
* The manuscript should be in MS-word format. The manuscript must be 1.5 line spaced, with 1-inch
  margins with “Times New Roman, font size 12, black.
* On the First Page of the paper (Cover page), please provide full names (First, middle and last
  names) and full addresses (Institute’s address along with designation and correspondence
  address) along with the email address of the author(s). The author’s name or affiliations should not
  appear anywhere else in the body of the manuscript to facilitate the blind peer-review process.
* The actual paper should commence from the second page. The manuscript contains the title
  followed by the abstract, keywords, and the main paper. The paper should have an introduction,
  literature review, objectives, research gaps, methodology, limitations/scope for future work, and
  conclusion.
* The abstract, followed by relevant keywords should not be more than 300 words and should
  adequately describe the work and highlight its significance. The abstract should only include text.
  Avoid the use of abbreviations and references in the abstract.
* The manuscript should not be more than 5000 words including tables, figures, and an appendix
  given at the end. Headings and subheadings must be short and not numbered. The primary
  heading should be in the capitalized form (upper case), and boldface. The sub-headings should be in title-case capitalization (first letter of each word in the capital) and in bold. The table should be numbered consecutively. The title of the table should be placed above the table. The source should be indicated at the bottom.
* Figures/ diagrams/ graphs should be numbered consecutively. Wherever necessary, the source
  should be indicated at the bottom. The figures should also be given relevant titles. Figures,
  diagrams, and pictures should have good quality images preferably in JPEG Format.
* References should be included at the end of the paper and arranged in alphabetical order. The
  references must follow the style guide of the American Psychological Association (APA).
* A declaration should be provided from the corresponding author along with the paper stating
  Abstracts that the work is an original one and does not violate Copyright.

Guidelines for Submission of Manuscript

* Authors can start submitting the abstracts and complete the registration process in order to avail
  the early bird registration benefits. All the authors have to do the registration individually to present the paper at the international conference and receive the conference certificate.
* **\*Absentia Option** is available for all the individual participants provided wherein, such author
  needs to complete the registration process with a nominal cost of **₹500** at the earliest. Only
  registered authors would be receiving the conference certificate.
