Admission Process for BA Programs
BA programmes in ABBS have a clear merit-based admission process. Any student that has a 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised board is eligible to apply.
Step 1: Go to the ABBS webpage and complete the online application form. Provide scanned documents of 10th and 12th mark sheets, transfer certificate and passport-size photograph.
Step 2: Pay 500 INR application fee as an online payment. The processing of the application takes place in 2 working days.
Step 3: The shortlisted candidates are offered admission on the basis of 12th standard marks. It is based on scholastic performance, the relevance of the subject and the profile.
Step 4: Take part in the admission counselling session on the Bangalore campus. Carry original documents to be checked and their photocopies.
Step 5: Verify admission by making payment of the first semester fee. Gather the admission packet with student ID, programme handbook and course schedules.
The admission procedure normally opens in April of every year to the upcoming academic session in June. Any late admissions can also be taken in-seat until the end of July.
Provisionally can apply students appearing in 12th-standard exams. The last admission is once the mark sheets of the passed subjects are submitted and the minimum percentage is met.

Civil Services through UPSC
Eligibility to IAS, IPS and IFS, amongst other Group A services, is through the Civil Services Examination, which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission once in a year. BA graduates make a big percentage of successful applicants.
