In today’s fast-changing world, Data and Industry 4.0 technologies are profoundly impacting businesses and organisations. Modern organisations require experts to analyse data and leverage emerging technologies for informed decision-making. In this context, business analytics has become a highly sought-after course offered by reputed B-schools in India and abroad.
ABBS offers an MBA in Business Analytics from Bangalore University (Jnana Bharathi campus). Since its establishment, ABBS has marked each year with significant milestones. In 2021, it launched the MBA (Business Analytics) programme, a pioneering initiative under Bangalore University and the only one of its kind. In 2022, the department was recognised as a Research Centre, offering a PhD in Management from Bangalore University. Despite these achievements, the department remains committed to continuous improvement, striving to become one of the best B-schools in the country.

Minimum Eligibility for Admission

  • A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages from a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • Honours degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act having at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages.
  • Candidates who have passed bachelor / master degree through correspondence / Open University system or any university recognized by law are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degrees must be three and two years respectively.
  • Candidates who pass bachelor/master degree in any University system in a single sitting pattern are not eligible.
  • In case of SC/ST/Cat I candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained.
