Program Overview
Welcome to the Department of Aviation Management at Acharya Bangalore B School (ABBS).
Our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation Management is a specialized undergraduate program that focuses on the management and administration aspects of the aviation industry. At ABBS, we are dedicated to training competent professionals to oversee quality control and safety across various operations, particularly in marketing, finance, and accounting within the aviation sector, including airlines, airports, ground handling, and shipment management.
Since its inception, the BBA in Aviation Management at ABBS has successfully graduated three batches of students, who have secured positions in airline management, airport management, aviation consulting, aviation safety management, and various roles within aviation-related government agencies and organizations.
Eligibility
Any student who has passed PUC/10+2/Pre-University equivalent courses in Science, Arts or Commerce securing a minimum of 35% of marks is eligible.

Curriculum
The curriculum for BBA Aviation Management focused on AECC: Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course, Discipline Specific Core (Course), SEC-SB/VB: Skill Enhancement Course-Skill Based/Value Based, OEC: Open Elective Course, DSE: Discipline Specific Elective, with both SEE: Semester End Examination, CIE: Continuous Internal Evaluation.
*Note: Various value-added programs are offered throughout the course, tailored to meet the industry requirements each year.

Guest Lectures
- International Civil Aviation day was celebrated by BBA Aviation management students on 7th December 2021, under the Guest Speaker: Mr. Jacob P Thomas former Director in Charge of CIASL. On the topic “Advancing Innovation for Global Aviation Development.”
- Collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to train students on Aviation Management courses through Maruthsakha Aerospace and Aviation Ltd. As part of the National Skill Development Corporation Training centre at our college, Maruthsakha Aerospace and Aviation conducted a VAP program on Airline Customer service and conducted the assessment on the program. On behalf of the program we planned to conduct a Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh Skill Convocation Ceremony for the students of BBA Aviation Management on 12th November 2022.
