Program Overview
At ABBS, we offer a B.Sc. program in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Genetics. Our students gain multidisciplinary skills and a strong knowledge base essential for the Life Sciences field. The program fosters subject-specific expertise along with critical, analytical, and flexible problem-solving abilities, preparing graduates for professional employment or higher studies in Life Sciences. Students can choose two major subjects from the three offered by the college.

Eligibility
Any student who has passed PUC/10+2/Pre-University equivalent courses in Physics, Chemistryand Biology securing a minimum of 35% of marks is eligible
Curriculum
The curriculum is interdisciplinary in nature, providing students with a strong basis to understand principles for diverse biological phenomena, and allowing them to be creative and competitive researchers in life sciences. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for advances in life sciences and technologies in the 21st century. The curriculum for B.Sc. Life Science is focused on

(e) SEC: Skill Enhancement Courses
(f) SEE: Semester End Examination, CIE: Continuous Internal Evaluation (which includes L+T+P: Lecture + Tutorial + Practicals).
