Anti-Ragging Committee will be the supervisory and advisory committee in preserving a culture of Ragging free environment in the college Campus.
Main objectives:
- To sensitise the students of dehumanising effect of ragging inherent in its perversity
- To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrences.
- Promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice
- To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.

As per UGC circular dated 4th July 2009, any act of physical or mental abuse targeted at another student on the ground of colour, RACE, RELIGION, CASTE, ETHNICITY, GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, APPEARANCE, NATIONALITY, REGIONAL ORIGINS, LINGUISTIC IDENTITY, PLACE OF BIRTH, PLACE OR RESIDENCE OR ECONOMIC BACKGROUND IS CONSIDERED OR ANY THING WHICH IS FELT TO BE OFFENCE IS TO BE CONSIDERED RAGGING.
Students indulging in Ragging will face the following punishments:
- The Anti-Ragging committee issue the show cause notice to the students involved in the case.
- At the Institutional Level depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution, The possible punishment for those found guilty of ragging will be Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges
- Fine ranging up to Rupees 25,000/-
