  1. Policy Objective

    • To maintain transparency in the selection and admission process

    • To admit students as per the admission norms of Bangalore University, Government of Karnataka and AICTE
    • To extend career guidance to prospective students and, thereby, help them choose the program of their choice

  2. Student Eligibility

    • UG Programs: Candidates must have graduated from class 12th or 2nd PUC from a recognized board.

    • MBA Program: Candidates seeking admission in the MBA program must satisfy the following eligibility norms:

      • Graduation (10+2+3 stream) from any recognized Indian or foreign university with a minimum of 50% (45% for Indian SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks.

      • Students must qualify in any one of the ‘All India level Management Entrance Examinations’ like CAT, XAT, GMAT or MAT/KMAT.

      • Issue of Application:

        • After the announcement of new admissions dates, applications and the application fees are obtained from candidates.
        • Every application form will carry a unique application number. No application form will be considered for the admission selection process without the application number.
        • The application form can be obtained by the aspirants only after remitting the application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (UG) and Rs. 2,000/- (MBA).
        • Candidates will have the option to fill up the application online or on printed forms.
        • The MBA selection process will be conducted over multiple rounds since ABBS enrolls students who opt for multiple national entrance examinations such as MAT, CAT, XAT etc.
        • The admissions will be in two phases- on campus and off-campus at different centers (dates are announced separately).
        • A faculty member and an industry member/alumni will be present on the panel for selection. Selection is based on the prescribed parameters given by the admission committee.

Fees Regulations

  • Students must abide by the given fee structures
  • Students must pay the fees within the stipulated dates, in order to avoid late payment fines
  • Fees will be collected at the beginning of every semester
  • Every student is liable to pay his/her fees for their respective semesters
  • If students are admitted after the date of commencement in any given academic year, he/she shall pay the fees of the foregoing months at the time of enrolment.
  • All fees to be paid at the college fee counter and receipts to be collected for every payment made
  • The fee refund policy is as per AICTE norms (MBA), and Bangalore University norms for UG programs

Scholarships

ABBS Scholarship Policy:

The Scholarships schemes establish the general rules/guidelines for the grant and administration. ABBS student scholarships and awards are funded by ABBS and other donors/sponsors.

How to apply:

Scholarship details are published in the table mentioned below. Scholarships can be applied along with a complete online application form, where applicants can select the type of scholarship. Alternatively, applicants can download the scholarship form, and submit the same to admissions@abbs.edu.in with the subject: ‘Scholarship Applicant 2021’, with the relevant attachments.

Note: Only after the initial application form is submitted will the applicant be considered for scholarships.

Note: Scholarships for MCom is based on academic scores. Students scoring above 75% will be eligible to apply. Scholarships up to 50,000/- will be awarded for meritorious students.

UG Scholarship Criteria:

UG Programs: Students who have passed in 2nd PUC/12th grade can apply.

MBA Scholarships Criteria:

Students who have scored above 60% in their graduate stream are eligible to apply for the scholarship categories mentioned.

Note: All scholarships are approved by the Executive Director before disbursement.
